# Contact chart.video

Whether a spreadsheet came in sideways, a bar race overtook in the wrong place or you’d like a chart type we don’t have yet, the quickest route to us is email. No form and no account: write to the address below and someone who works on the studio will read it.

Email [hello@chart.video](mailto:hello@chart.video)

## What to tell us about

* **Data that won’t read properly.** Say where the table came from (Excel, Google Sheets, a CSV file or a link), how the rows and columns are laid out, and which numbers or dates came out wrong. A few made-up rows in the same shape are ideal; there’s no need to send your real figures.
* **Charts or exports that misbehave.** Give the chart type, the format (16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5), the export choice (MP4, GIF, transparent WebM or PNG) and your browser, and describe what looked different from the preview.
* **Ideas.** A chart type, theme, palette or motion setting you’d use, or a guide for an app you already chart in.
* **Press.** We’re happy to explain how every frame is drawn and encoded in the browser, with the data staying on the device.
* **Privacy requests.** Your data, charts, logo and music stay in your browser. For anything on the [privacy page](https://chart.video/privacy), including the statistics and the words sent when you ask for a voiceover, write to this address.

## What to expect

chart.video is a small, independent project without a support desk, so we can’t promise a reply by a particular time. We do read every email, and reports that include a sample table usually get looked at first.

## Answers you might already have

The [questions on the home page](https://chart.video/#faq) cover uploads, file types, watermarks and export sizes, and the [Excel and Google Sheets guide](https://chart.video/excel-chart-to-video)shows how to bring a table across in the right shape.
